A.R.S. §48-3708(A) (azleg.gov,When decisions happen
CAP's fiscal year is the calendar year. Each August, county clerks certify assessed value to the district by the second Monday. The Board then fixes and levies the tax by the third Monday. The tax is capped at ten cents per $100 of assessed value. CAP also builds a two-year budget through a staff-led planning process.
