Details
Columbus Metropolitan Library — an independent library district with its own voted property levies, separate from the city and county: a 2.8-mill levy (voted 2010, reduced by Ohio law to about 2.18 mills as values rose) plus a 1.5-mill levy (voted November 2023, about $53 per $100,000 of home value). This estimate uses the combined billed (effective) rate of about 3.68 mills on assessed value — Ohio homes are assessed at 35% of market value. The exact billed rate awaits the Franklin County Auditor's official tax-rate table; Ohio's reduction mechanism means this rate drifts down after each reappraisalWho decides
